Five Bishops to Oversee the Church

Our thanks for all of the prayers which were offered as we watched the Spirit work among us in raising up two more shepherds that have been added to the congregation’s eldership. It was a simple, yet moving experience last Sunday to witness brothers Gary Davidson and James Schilling join brethren Wade Brooks, Michael McIntosh, and Jamie Osbourn in accepting responsibility for the spiritual welfare of the Llano Church of Christ. The brief words and prayers said with the laying on of hands was so encouraging in the present moment and full of hope for the future. “Thank You, Lord. And may God continue His abundant blessings on this church family of His and ours. Amen.”

Mission Statement

Come Connect Become

“Come”

Our goal is to make it easier for people who are searching for God to find Him. We hope to help seekers come to the heavenly Father by building a meaningful relationship with Him through loving His Son, Jesus Christ. This is also His Spirit’s mission and we take it to heart choosing it as the good news we profess and vigorously pursue.

“Connect”

We believe that discovering a real sense of belonging to the Lord includes mutually shared experiences with other believers in a fellowship of worship, study, and ministry. When these encounters happen regularly they help us on the journey to spiritual unity and maturity. Personal connections in the Body of Christ are the bottom line for us.

“Become”

It’s like the sign out front says: “Church of Christ.” We have no creed but Christ. This Jesus-faith is what forms our priorities and how we make our plans. We are intentional about trying to follow our Lord with every step we take together as a church family. It is His likeness that we seek to be like and to show to each other and the world around us.
